Day Two - Thursday, 14 Dec 2006

Alrighty, yesterday was a riot!

Ha, when I say 'riot'; it's very much what I felt like doing (at least for the first part of the day). Ella & I got sent on a wild goose chase to the Woods Green post office where we stood in a queue (...the same q) twice. All this to try get a London Underground Youth Travel Card. Alas if you know the British Rail system you'll know that they no longer do youth fares!! *sigh* after that El & I decided to make our way down to the London Eye. Neither of us knew the way exactly and started our journey to the south... Needless to say that after 2 hours of travelling on the train, we didn't find the eye until we asked an American (whom got off the same tube as us) @ Putney Bridge station. How silly!

Anyway, the Eye was for both Ella and I a scary journey as she has a fear of heights and I have an irrational fear of ferris wheels. It was very beautiful and very interesting. The view of London was exceptional and the massive structure of the eye fascinating.

We then tried to get to Madam Tousards however we made it just as it closed, but we have valid tickets until the end of the year (2006 - We never got to see it - we tried and tried but never managed to find the time). So that was basically our day on Wednesday. After all that Ella bought some fun touristy presents for her friends.

I feel, perhaps that I was a little strict with her and her money - first time in my life I've ever been able to save anything - but why should I have been so adament for Ella to save her money.

To finish off we took the long trek back to Bounds Green and chilled with Eillen & Angela while we rested our weary feet and Eva got back from her Pornographic directional debut.

It got quite late , 11:30ish and I made my trek back to Kings Cross with still tired and sore feet and a somewhat rashed crotch.

... and finally bed.
