sleuth-tastic

troublesome manner, reformed
and tense, hard, not wanting
to do, stealthy & subtle, under
cover, the sleuth cant
even see, blinded by the
reciprocation of interest
and openness of and
towards oneself.

can you figure out who dunnit?

Just A Quickie

Okay, okay, I know its been a while but never fear before the holidays are over there will be lots of updates. The Main event being my recent trip to London for one and then I'm sure I can make some other stuff up to fill the space! but in the meantime...

A Merry Xmas & A Happy New Years to all!

last minute late night update

I spent the evening baby sitting a couple of weeks back and I realised how much I miss my family. We get on so much better (and for the better). I've now been out of home now almost a full 2 years. Longer than I've ever spent away from them. Furthermore visiting can sometimes make things all that harder to bare! Haha, well I'm not saying its hard or difficult I'm just saying I miss them. No matter whether you live in the same city or continents apart, it's hard not to miss one's family. So here are some fun photos of my sister Sophie-Grace, the youngest (bottom o' the barrel :p ) member of my family.

Classic Car Appreciation

I can't say that this isn't a beautiful car - it's gorgeous! Yeah yeah laugh all you want but this old car not only holds 'classic' status but it's comfortable and fast! Maybe not fast like we know fast today but fast as in 120km/hr with twin carburaters on a little Italian Alfa Romeo GT Junior 1.3 engine not to mention a real treat on the road. Imagine you're Bond driving along curvy roads set into the cliffs high above the ocean and all you're worried about is spilling the Martini in your hand! Now thats what I'm talking about.

Alas the engine wasn't well looked after (the previous owner thought lack of attention might stop any mechianic from damanging her) and subsequently seized. So here Dear Car , Farewell! May you find happiness in Alfa Romeo heaven! and damn your previous owner who couldn't get maintenance right!

I was never able to name her - however Olive Oil was one of my favorites. Happily the colour wasn't my choice and she seized up before I could get it together to repaint her.

Another thing about this car is that it looked small from the outside and trust me it was/is (who knows anymore) a tiny car. Yet once you sat inside it (even with your partner) and it's like a flying 1st class ... tons of leg room yeah :D

One last Pro of this car; It could fit into almost any parking! :) My lady loved as least that about the car, she never had to trek miles to get to where we were goin.

So Long, Adios and Bon Voyage!

Getting Back On Track

Finally I'll start posting again...

A brief overview of whats been happenin in my life:

Left one job to goto another. Some collegues took it personally when it had nothing to do with them, I just needed to move on - it was time and well the new job is very exciting, stressfull and so much more room for growth.

Got a new car! yay something decent went from old car(1973 Alfa gt junior) to no car to new car (Golf 3 1.8l GTS , power steering and a 6 cd changer 1995 model to be exact) - so totally chuffed!

flat mates have left me in a fix. I want to hurt them. But as long as they stay away from me I'm happy.

's all for now :)
